Clinic is No longer performing abortions

  • A complaint was filed in March 2018 against this facility for requiring payment for abortions and services related to abortion before the mandatory 48 hour waiting period. They have 30 days to respond. We will update when we get the report from their response.
  • The facility had no disaster plan in place and the staff was not knowledgeable of what to do in case of an internal or external disaster. This had the potential to put all patients and staff in danger.
  • The facility did not have an updated list of phone numbers and contact information for emergency use including key personnel and the local police department and other available emergency units. This had the potential to delay help in the event of an emergency
  • The facility did not have a medication administration policy which would designate who, how and when medications would be administered
  • Three of the four clinical staff did not have CPR certification 100% of the staff did not have a current health record to include TB skin test. This failure to follow proper infection control affected all staff and patients exhibiting a disregard for their health and welfare.
  • The facility had no infection control program in place, including techniques for separating clean from dirty processes
